About

In 2011, ASL Club became officially recognized by SGA. Since then, it has provided a unique experience by bridging the gap of the hearing community and the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing community at UVM and in surrounding areas.  Members have the opportunity to learn new signs, learn about d/Deaf culture & history, connect to the community, and  to volunteer.

For the 2013-2014 academic year we want to change things up! Let’s make ASL Club bigger and better. So let us know what you want to happen this year! This could include activities for meetings, events, or whatever… simply comment below.

  1. Hi,

I am the Executive Director of the Heineberg Senior Center in the New North End of Burlington. I have a group of seniors that would like to learn sign language. If you are interested in volunteering 1 – 1 1/2 hours a week on Wednesday AM, please contact me.
    Thank you
